180

A 180, also known as a 180-degree rotation, is one of the necessary freestyle tricks for every skier. When performing this trick the skier spins 180 degrees in the air, which causes them to ride with their orientation reversed from the starting point. It’s quite similar to the skiing forwards trick.

Start by keeping the skis parallel, gaining a steady speed when skiing downhill to accomplish this. Starting now, start to twist your upper body in the opposite direction or whichever way you want to spin. While lowering your upper and lower body to the ground, switch your body weight to your uphill ski.
